Nova Scotia Apples - Recipe Box: Curried Apple Wedges

 

Curried Apple Wedges
Yeild: 6 servings

• 1 cup sigar
• 1 tbsp. curry powder
• 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 tbsp. chopped onion
• 3/4 apple juice
• 3 tbsp. cider vinegar
• 5 large Nova Scotian apples, peeled and wedged

Combine ingredients except appls in skillet; bring to boil and simmer to a heavy syrup, approximately 10 minutes. Add apples and simmer until apple wedges are just tender (8-10 minutes). Serve warm or chilled with pork, chicken or any other meats.
