Curried Apple Wedges
Yeild: 6 servings
1 cup sigar
1 tbsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. chopped onion
3/4 apple juice
3 tbsp. cider vinegar
5 large Nova Scotian apples, peeled and wedged
Combine ingredients except appls in skillet; bring to boil and simmer
to a heavy syrup, approximately 10 minutes. Add apples and simmer until
apple wedges are just tender (8-10 minutes). Serve warm or chilled with
pork, chicken or any other meats.
