Nova Scotia Apples - Recipe Box: Spiced Pear Jam

 

Spiced Pear Jam


• 8 cups chopped, peeled pears
• 4 cups sugar
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp cloves

Combine in large pot. Simmer uncovered 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until thick. Remove from heat, stir and skim, pour into hot sterile jars and seal.
