Supreme Salad
Yield: 6-8 side salads
500 mL diced, unpeeled Nova Scotia apples 2 cups
250 mL thinly sliced celery 1 cup
125 mL chopped walnuts 1/2 cup
125 mL diced seedless raisins 1/2 cup
125 mL diced orange or pineapple 1/2 cup
25 mL chopped parsley or green onion 1 1/2 tbsp.
500 mL diced, cooked chicken, turkey or ham 2 cups
1 mL curry powder (optional) 1/4 tsp.
125 mL (approx.) mayonnaise or lemon dressing* 1/2

Blend well
250 mL reconstituted lemon juice 1 cup
250 mL vegetable oil 1 cup
15 mL salt 1 tbsp.
5 mL pepper 1 tsp.
125 mL sugar 1/2 cup
60 mL honey 4 tbsp.
