This section of the Nova Scotia Apples web site is divided into two parts.

The first, Eating and Cooking, gives information on apple and pear varieties, apple purchasing, keeping apples and pears at home, uses for different varieties of apples, apple juice, cider and vinegar, nutrition facts, food safety, and apple waxing.

The second part is Apple Attractions.  This part provides information on our apple producing part of the world.  It provides tourist information and ideas on how to enjoy a visit to Nova Scotia - and to the Annapolis Valley in particular.  It also contains a review of the book Valley Gold, a history of the apple industry in Nova Scotia. There is also information on farms and markets, as well as apple related destinations.
