Using this Web Site

Here are a few words about how our web site is designed, and how to find something that you may be looking for. Please enjoy you visit with us.

Sections: The Nova Scotia Apples web site is divided into eight sections of interest.  Each of these sections can be accessed from the main link menu, which is located just under the header collage on each page, or from the text links at the bottom of each page.  Some sections are further broken down into more specific areas.

Green Text: Green text is used to identify the path of the pages. Where pages are branched within sections, the green text shows the relationship of each page to the rest of its section.

New Browser Windows: In a few instances, when a link is selected, that page will open in a new browser window.  This is done to allow these pages to be printed without the navigation links.  Closing the new browser window returns viewers to the last page they selected.

External Links: Some links to other web sites have been included in this web site.  If selected, these will open in a new browser window.  Closing the new browser window returns viewers to the last page they selected.

Site Map: Links to a site map can be found at the top and bottom of each page.  A site map is like a table of contents for the web site.  It is a quick and easy way for viewers to find a particular area of interest.

Search: Links to an internal search feature can also be found at the top and bottom of each page.  Viewers can enter a word or words to search for their occurrence within this web site.
